What is a student attendance and dismissal system?
It's the system that documents both ends of the school day: the student's arrival and attendance in class in the morning, and their exit and handover to an approved person at dismissal — so the school knows at any moment who is on campus, who has left, with whom, and when.
Does the system need fingerprint readers or special devices?
No. Attendance is taken on the teacher's or supervisor's device. It needs no fingerprint readers and no installation, and the school can start with the devices it already has.
When does the parent get the absence notification?
As soon as attendance is submitted. The school sets the timing, wording and sending channels, and the aim is for the family to learn of their child's absence at the start of the day, not at the end.
Can we run attendance on its own, or dismissal on its own?
Yes. Many schools start with dismissal because it is the most pressing, then add attendance and class marking in the second term. The modules are licensed separately within the subscription.
Does it work for a school with several branches?
