Data isolation and permissions
Each school's data is isolated
Access rules are enforced in the database itself (Row-Level Security), so no user can reach another school's data, whatever the interface.
Role-based access
School system administrator, branch manager, supervisor, guard, teacher, attendance officer, parent and permanent receiver — each sees what belongs to their role.
Parents see only their own children
A parent cannot reach another student's data, and class posts are limited to the parents of that class's students.
Records and files
School operations log
A log that records operations across the school, available to the school system administrator.
A handover record for every student
Who requested pickup, who handed the student over, to whom, and when — for every dismissal.
Private files, temporary links
Private photos and files are shown through signed links that expire within minutes.
Privacy in daily use
Family consent for photos
Student photos in Class Pulse require the family's consent.
No background location tracking
If the school turns on the proximity check, location is read once when pickup is requested, and is never tracked in the background.
Account deletion
Parents delete their account from the app, with a 14-day window to restore it. How to delete an account.
Accounts tied to the school
No one can create an account inside a school on their own; parent and staff accounts are linked to records the school creates.
Mobile app data

Frequently asked questions
Who can see a student's data?
Authorized staff at the student's school, according to their roles and permissions, and the student's parents. No user sees data outside their own school.
Can a parent see another student's data?
No. Parents see only their own children, and Class Pulse posts appear only to the parents of students in that class at the time of posting.
Can one school see another school's data?
No. Data isolation between schools is enforced in the database itself, not only in the interface.
How does a parent delete their account?
From inside the app, with a 14-day window to restore it. For accounts the school manages, deletion is requested through the school.
Does the app track a parent's location?
The app does not track location in the background. If the school turns on the proximity check for pickup requests, location is read once, when the parent taps “I've arrived”.
